Elder Michael O'Connor II - Scotland/Ireland Mission

September 3, 2018 Hello all, Well this week was a very crazy week! Like very crazy! Like soooo wild I am still trying to recover from it! To be honest it is very stressful but good!   Well so it starts with having to say goodbye to Elder Gowans! OH I love him so much! I had so much fun with him and I just hope we can be friends when I get home! Being with him though also made me miss you guys sooo much more then what I was which is a good and bad thing. I said goodbye to him and that was sad but cool I am so excited for him and all the others going home!  So they white washed the Zone Leaders here in Edinburgh so I was with Elder Brockbank helping him do moves calls before he left to Ireland.   So we did that and everything was going good but then comes Tuesday. August 27, 2018 Well hello all!  This week was a crazy one. To start off I just want to say how much I love Elder Gowans. He was a dream to be with! We had a load of fun together and I can’t wait to come home and be able to chill with him!! This week my main focus was just killing him off right, which means, letting him have the best week possible. Hopefully that happened! I am so excited for you guys to meet him! Well this week was really good. We were finding for most of the week which was alright. We have some really cool people that we will teach this week so I am excited for it! Well I know you probably want to know my moves call?  So at around 10:40 in the morning on Saturday I got a call from President Macdonald telling me that I was going to be staying here in Edinburgh............ and that I will be the District Leader........... and that I will be Training someone.........!  Pretty crazy!!! This week will be very crazy! I will be in new leaders...

August 20, 2018 This week was a long week! We didn’t get to teach a whole lot because of the “Fringe” but we were out in the street a lot finding and not a whole lot of people stopped! It honestly was one of the worst finding weeks I have had on my mission but I am still doing just so well. Oh to sum up the week a dude tried to punch me! I am having so much fun with Elder Gowans and just trying my best to do all I can. To be honest one of the things that brought me lots of joy this week was helping Elder Gowans get stuff ready to go home. Elder Gowans is so awesome and just makes everything the best, which makes everything fly bye.  So if you just look up Middle Meadow Walk on Google Maps and also Nicholson Street and George Square, then you can see pretty much all the areas we go.   I left my camera at home but I do have lots of pictures and videos I just haven’t had time to put them in my drive so I am sorry. August 13, 2018 Hello everyone!   Alright this P-Day is going to be fun, so my time is short and this email will be brief.  This P-Day we will be going for our last time to hunt sheep. I will finally be a little more mobile because I have my brace and of course I will be safe. After our hike and Sheep adventure we will be going to Pizza Hut. Some elders in Belfast went and it’s like an all you can eat thing and they ate 120 slices of pizzas. So we are going for 200+ so I guess you can say that it’s a Missionary Challenge and you know we can’t back down from that. A summary of the week is it was great. We were out in the street for the whole week and just kept to the grind. We didn’t quit we just worked and worked. The 1st half of the week was super hard and not much of anything happened.
