Week 47: New Suit, All Scotland Conference, Teaching and Service

December 10, 2018

Hey well what is up??!!! Thank you for the early birthday present!!!! The suit is awesome and I only paid 60 pounds for it! So it was nice! I also will be sending pics to you! My camera battery died so I wasn’t able to take pics at the conference, but tons of people are sending me pictures so no need to worry! They will be here soon! Ok so All Scotland was sooo funny!

So on Monday we sort of just had a nice shopping day! I couldn’t find a place that had a suit in my size so I was getting really sad but thankfully God is looking out for me! The last place we went I found a super nice suit and I was very happy!

Later that day we traveled down to Edinburgh for the All Scotland conference. But yah the morning of All Scotland I went over to see Elder Jensen! It was so nice seeing him!!!! It was just nice seeing all of my friends that I haven’t seen in a long time!!! It sucks when they don’t do the whole mission together because you don’t see anyone. The whole thing was awesome! President Macdonald and the APs did a very good job!!! It’s cool President is starting to make more and more changes now. He is shaping the mission in the way he and the Lord wants it to be. I am hoping I can get a Grada Card soon and be able to go back to Ireland!! With people not being able to get in, Ireland is getting destroyed which is sad! So just pray that we can start getting back in, as well that I can go back!!

But yeah for fun at all Scotland we and a snowball fight......yes I was being safe and not being dumb and not running around. Also we watched the Incredibles 2!!!!!!! Oh I loved it so much! It made me so happy to be able to watch it! After the conference some missionaries we drove up with had to stay back to have interviews with President, so I ended up staying and waiting for them and helped drive some missionaries to the bus and train station so they could get home. President said thank you to me a bunch of times so I hope he likes me. We ended up getting back to our flat way late. The next day our car was pretty messed up so I took it in and found out it had 320000 miles on it and it has never been serviced! So we planned to get it done later in the week which I will tell you more about later!

So our days were good, we had lots of finding. Lots of lessons fell through. We ended up finding 3 new people to teach: Debra, Stephan, and Rik. They went well. It was the first time I have taught in a home during my entire time on my mission!!

So fast forward about the car... so we take it in and then get a call from Elder Helps in the mission office getting mad about our car. So our car not only wasn’t serviced but the brake pads were gone! It has been metal on metal! So we got ripped on for it, but we just got the car so it wasn't our fault! It took a few days to get it back but now the car is all better!

Another cool thing I did is while on exchanges with Max (Elder Nadauld) we went to this place and helped pack presents for children in need! So that was fun also we went and did this Santa float thing (fundraiser) which is when go around door to door and ask for money for a thing called MND Scotland and we have like a truck that is playing music and has Santa on it. I will be getting pics for you soon!!!!!

Well that was this week!!!
Love you all,
