Week 44: Sickness, Moves Calls & New Companion, and Training Again

Hello everyone,

 

This week has been crazy but it has been good! So the reason last week I wasn’t able to email much was because on Sunday night we had the Elders from Buchan come down for the little celebration/WWI Anniversary thing on Sunday and for the past week he was feeling really ill but was feeling better, but when he came down and while we were on the bus headed to the church he started to have so much pain! And so pretty much we took him to the Zone Leaders flat next to the church and it started to get worse so I had the privilege to run grab a car and rush him to the hospital. We rushed in the hospital and dropped him and my companion off then his companion and I, Elder Moffitt went and parked the car and went back in with the ZL's to wait for news! We were there for a long time and ended up leaving at 10:30! We had to go to my flat to grab things for both of them and then do a few other things. Which led to us getting to the flat a little late but then we all talked for a long time and went to bed so late!!! So pretty much our P-Day was full of driving back and forth to the hospital switching out with each other so that is why I didn’t say too much in my email to you!!!!! But yeah so he ended up getting released from the hospital and just had a whole bunch of Kidney Stones! Yes it sounds like it hurts!!! But yeah so we got him back to my flat and got him rested!!! The next day he wasn’t feeling better well actually the whole week he was feeling in pain and passing through all of them!!! He still has a couple left though and he is getting moved to a new area so I hope the pain will stop till he stops traveling! My companion wasn't feeling well either so Elder Moffitt and I were comps for the week, which was actually so fun and we put in soooo much work!!!! This week we found a whole lot and set up so many lessons for this next week!!!

So I am sooooo excited we could have a huge week which is good especially since I am staying here in Aberdeen and am training again! His name is Elder Schroeder! I will be follow up training him so it should be fun! I should meet him pretty soon! Well today we should be running helping with moves all day! Oh, and guess what? Well so this week when I got my call I was told I am getting a car! That is so sick!! I have to drive the ZL's around sometimes so it’s pretty cool. Wish me luck for this transfer okay and make sure to pray that our lessons can show! 

This week we taught Kyle! Now he is a really cool guy we are teaching who loves the Book of Mormon and told us actually that if he were to die he told his family to have him baptized for the dead in our church!!! So he is progressing really well!!! We’re teaching him again this week!  He told us he doesn’t want a date, that he knows when he needs to and he will do it!!! So I am thinking in the next couple weeks he will be ready to be baptized! Then we also taught a man named Robert who is such a cool guy! He is on date for the 15 of December!!!! We are so excited for him!! He really is a legend! I love teaching him!!

Okay I am back on. I just went up and picked Elder Schroeder up  and I am going to like him a lot. This week I am so excited to go out and just work my hardest and be the best that I can be! It will be great!  I am thankful for the power of the atonement because that will be something that I focus on for this transfer so I am excited about it! 

Well everyone, I love you and hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! It will be really sad not being able to be there for it but I know that you guys will have a fun time and get stuffed with whatever dad smokes!!!!
