Baptism of Andre and Bray Head

Hello all,

I am so jealous of the week you had in Washington DC and New York! I love both of those places and so glad I’ve been able to travel there a few times. I am happy Kenna had the opportunity to experience it all. I really can’t complain though.

So this week I am in a rush to email because we are going to Bray Head and I need to return some shoes that I got last week and get some things done before we leave.

This week was good but the end the week was great because we had the baptism for Andre! Of course because Satan is good at his job, he finds his way in to trying to mess things up! We got a text from Andre in the morning saying he was kicked out of his flat and has nowhere to stay and if he couldn’t find somewhere that he wouldn’t be able to be baptized! So I was going crazy!! We were running around the city looking for places for him. After spending the whole day looking with him and then right before there was no time left we found him a place. Soon after we went to the church and he was baptized!  So awesome! He was amazing! So ready for the gospel of Jesus Christ! I am very thankful to be a part of it! I am very excited for him and really all of our recent converts to go back to Brazil to be able to progress!

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. How has finding been this week? It has actually been a struggle. I don’t know why but this week will be better hopefully! Buy the way I knocked on my first house yesterday and set up a lesson! That never happens here so cool cool!

2. How has it been with teaching the friends that normally speak Portuguese? It hasn’t been too hard, but we have had a lot of those people just drop us because Elder Valiati is gone. But it’s all good, hopefully it will be better next week.
