Howth and Testimony of The Book of Mormon
April 30, 2018
Hello all,
Alright so we didn’t
have a baptism this week but it’s all good we will have one in the future!
Well so it can be hard
top spread the time but its all good! Usually the people will drop themselves
out because they lose interest so it’s not too hard.
There
is a member in our ward his name is Kelvin Troy! He played for
Rutgers in the late 70s and early 80s! He played for the Bucks and is in the
Rutgers Basketball Hall of Fame! Pretty crazy huh but he is a funny guy that
has kept me up to date on the Draft.
Alright hear is my
spiritual thought for the week!
So I am going to be
honest....... I haven't read the whole Book of Mormon through in my whole
life. And to be honest it’s really sad that I haven’t and I feel at times
ashamed for not! So when I got to the field I told myself I was going to read
it all the way through! It’s been a long time but this Wednesday I finished it! After I finished
it I got on my knees and did as Moroni asks us to do and I asked God if the Book
of Mormon was true. I know with all my heart that Joseph Smith saw God and
Jesus Christ. He restored this church! I know that my Redeemer and Savior
lives. Every Prophet we have had is called of God! This Church is led by Christ
and because of that I know that I can be with my family for all time and all
eternity. The Book of Mormon is True! I know it is!! I don’t need any big
spiritual experience to know it’s True! I have known its true my whole
life!
I love you dad and
want to thank you and mom for all that you have done for me!!!! You have taught
me so many things and I am eternally grateful for!! I love you so much and have
a good week!!!
Love,
Elder O'Connor
