Exchanges, finding lots of investigators, lessons and baptisms to come.

April 9, 2018

Hello all,

The Dublin Zoo was pretty cool. We went there for our P Day. It was raining a ton here as well.  Elder Valiati and I talk about how you and his mom talk during the week. It’s pretty funny!  Elder Valiati has helped me so much and I just love him. Transfer calls are at the end of the week. I guess that I stay here!

That is so cool about dad and the Potts! It is a dream come true and as I look at the people I teach and have baptized I hope that can happen for me too. Dad was such a good missionary and I hope I can be as good as he was!  (Mom’s note: Mike had the opportunity to baptize two people at the end of his mission, Bob and Cindy Potts on 1/1/1983 in the Chicago, Illinois Mission. We were able to reconnect with them 7 or 8 years ago. They still live in Illinois and have 3 beautiful daughters living in Colorado, Germany and Utah. As we have kept in touch with them and visit when they are in town, their youngest daughter Laura recently had a daughter, Adeline and we were invited to attend her baby blessing. Mike was invited to stand in the circle as Addy was blessed. What a true blessing to see the fruits of his labor as a missionary and see how the gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. We are forever grateful for the Spirit that testifies of the truthfulness of the gospel and love of our Heavenly Father for all of His children, and eternal friendships that have been made.)

This week was just such a great week! We taught a ton of people and found a lot of new investigators. We had exchanges twice this week! First with Elder Anderson from Canada and that was so fun!!! Then later in the week we went with the Zone Leaders and had exchanges! I went with Elder Turner. He only has 2 transfers left so he is almost done. They were so awesome.

I love it out here! My Portuguese I think is pretty amazing. I can totally tell somewhat of what they are talking about which is pretty crazy! There are so many Brazilians here! I for sure know how to talk super simple with them! Most of them speak a little English so we have been teaching in English too. I love teaching them because they are all so ready.

We have another Baptism this week! His name is Bento and he is from Brazil. He is so ready and I am so excited for him. Please keep him in your prayers! We are teaching tons of people from Mexico and Brazil. I never would of thought that I would teach people from so many places! Everyone we are teaching are doing pretty good! We have a lot on date for the 28th of April so hopefully they can stay on track.

Have a good week. I love you!

Mikey didn't send any pictures home this week so I thought I would
add pictures of where he and Elder Valiati go to Street Contact. These are
Pictures on O'Connell and Parnell Street in Dublin, Ireland.
