Busy, Busy Week!

February 19, 2018

Oh this week was really fun!  It has been SOOOOOOOOO busy!! It’s not even funny how busy we have been!! We have about 16 New Investigators, and we have 13 people on date for baptism! So the work  is just crazy!! We get tons of people through finding people on O'Connell Street, and also because Elder Valiati is from Brazil. Lots of people get passed to us to teach because there are so many Brazilians!! It is just easy to teach them!!

But yeah super funny, remember how I said I would never speak Spanish or anything like that again!!!!! Well Heavenly Father really has a sense of humor. This week I have read the Book of Mormon in Spanish and Portuguese!  Right now I can kind of understand what is happening in Spanish so thanks to Mr. Adkinson for that. Now each day I am trying to learn a little bit of Portuguese so I can help Elder Valiati and communicate better with those we meet and teach!
I am not complaining. It can be rough out in the streets finding people all day so I am super blessed for it!!

This week has also really tested me. Who knew people don't like missionaries???? I sure didn't!!!! So yeah it was my first experience of the negative side of the work as well. But It’s all good.  It has only made me want to be better because I know God has prepared people to hear our message! So that totally brings me pure Joy!! So I am just super blessed to be out here. This next week should be very busy! All Ireland will be this Thursday! All Ireland is just a huge meeting with everyone from Ireland. So I am super excited for it! Especially to see both of my MTC groups! It will be a great reunion with both of them!!

Update on the knee................. It’s all good!! It’s a little sore which makes sense, but it’s all good! I really could use the Ice Man Machine because it would be beautiful!! But no my knee is doing great. Okay congrats to dads girls!!! I will make sure to pray for them!!! I have faith they can pull it out and get that Ring! I wish I could be there with them! I really have missed all of you! Tell Kenna and Ash I love them and miss them, and give Krew a good hug for me as well!!

I am figuring out my "why" each and every day!!! I love you all!

Answer  to your questions:
1) How has shopping and cooking been going? Well It’s sort of hard to shop here because just everything is weird, and we weren't really left anything in the Flat!! So we have no Spatula or anything like that! It’s a little rough! But I haven’t gained any weight and I have been eating soooooo bad!!!!!!
2) Have all of your contacts been through Street Contacting? Yes most of them if not all are from finding. We don’t door knock which is a blessing!!
3) On P Day are you allowed to site see to churches, castles, etc? Yes! P day we can do whatever like today we are doing shopping and then probably going to St. Patrick Cathedral!! So it should be fun!!!
4) Who are your investigators and have you taught any lessons with them yet? There are too many to count but please pray for them!!
5) What missionaries are in your district and who are your Zone Leaders?
Okay so we are the Dublin Finglas area!! Our area is the highest baptizing area in the mission so it’s a lot of pressure!! There is Elder Anderson and Elder Von Mollendorff!!! It’s cool we are in the same area!! Then there is Sister Osmond (from Highland) and Sister Duke (from Syracuse and she was in my District as well so that’s super fun!) Then we have the Zone Leaders in our District as well and that’s Elder Turner and Elder Gibb! Elder Gibb is a legend!! He was the AP for a whole year and came here for his last Transfer!! So he is just so good!

On exchanges with Elder Turner from Iowa-He is a Mandarin Chinese Speaking Missionary
